About

Originally from the wild coastline of Pembrokeshire, West Wales, I’ve called North London (N2) home for the past 18 years.

All of my work lives at the intersection of creativity, emotional insight, and deep human connection. As a photographer, coach, and musician, I help people see themselves more clearly, whether through images, conversation, or song.

My photography often on captures moments rich in atmosphere and mood. Many images carry the weight of an untold story, leaving space for the viewer to fill in the gaps. I aim to convey a quiet, enigmatic energy—where time feels suspended and the everyday is made strange.

Music

Since 2005, I’ve worked professionally as a music artist, writing, recording, touring, and releasing music most recently as Bryde. From being played on BBC Radio 1, 6Music and regional BBC Radio to touring Europe and the UK and being reviews by The Sunday Times and Pitchfork, it's been a rich and rewarding journey that’s taught me the highs and challenges of living a creative life in the public eye.

This lived experience now informs my work as a creative coach and mentor. Whether you're navigating artistic burnout, rebuilding confidence, or longing to reconnect with your creative spark, I offer a space of attentive listening and supportive challenge. My coaching draws on the same emotional awareness and storytelling instincts I use in songwriting—helping you tune in to your own voice and vision.

Coaching

During Covid I retrained and in 2021 I started work as a Peer Mental Health Coach for the NHS, supporting people with mental health challenges with their recovery journey or management of their symptoms. Working one to one with people in this way reaffirmed to me that this kind of interpersonal work was what I wanted to do more of. During this time with the NHS I undertook 52 hours of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Clinical Practise training and also trained as a Personal Medicine Coach. Helping people with their mental journey in a number of ways.

In 2023 I gained a Diploma in Body-Oriented Coaching with the ICF-Accredited Somatic School and establish my private practise. In 2025 I completed a CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies.

Photography

What fuels my photography is the same thing that fuels my coaching: a deep curiosity about what’s real and meaningful beneath the surface. I work closely with clients to create images that feel emotionally resonant and honest; portraits that reflect not just how you look, but who you are and the story you’re living.

Sometimes portrait sessions begin with a coaching conversation. This helps us uncover the emotion or truth you want to express, allowing the shoot to be grounded in reflection and presence rather than performance.

Having previously explored my life long passion for photography with a summer school at Central St Martins, I decided during 2020, having just written and released an album, to take photography to the next level and trained with London Institute of Photography under the guidance of Holger Pooten and his team.
