You as the Vision: Posture, Presence & the Soft Body

What if your vision board didn’t live on paper, but in your body?

What if instead of cutting out magazine images of who you hope to become, you softened into who you already are and let that be the guide?

This is the heart of The Soft Body, a portrait and coaching experience rooted in movement, breath, and deep presence. It’s part visioning, part remembering. It’s a gentle revolt against striving, and a return to the quiet truth held in posture, gesture, and somatic knowing.

💫 Posture as a Portal

We often think of posture as something to correct, a physical stance, a shape that’s either good or bad.

But in somatic work, posture becomes a kind of language. A posture can tell you where you've been, what you're bracing for, what you long for.

A collapsed chest might carry the weight of self-protection.
A lifted chin might be defiance, pride, or fear of being seen.
Soft knees, open palms, these are postures of becoming.

Your body remembers more than your mind. And sometimes, just by noticing the way you’re holding yourself, you can begin to shift the story.

🎯 Vision Boarding, Reimagined

Traditional vision boards are often filled with external markers of success, dream homes, new clothes, carefully curated aesthetics.

But what if the vision is internal? What if instead of manifesting from the outside in, we begin from the inside out?

In The Soft Body, the photos we create are the vision board.

They reflect not just how you look, but how you feel when you let go.
They hold the intention of softness, emergence, and presence.
They mirror the you that’s not trying just being.

You become both the subject and the symbol. The art and the artist. The vision and the vision board.

🪶 The Soft Body Experience

This process begins not with poses or clothes or cut out images, but with you, as you are.

We start with a coaching session grounded in somatic tools and Human Design, where we explore:

  • What’s present in your body right now?

  • What stories are living in your posture?

  • What part of you is ready to be seen, released, or honored?

Through movement, breath, and reflection, we begin to soften the grip of who we think we should be and make space for who we already are.

Then, we enter the portrait session with no pressure to perform, only an invitation to unfold.

🌿 What Emerges

The images that come from The Soft Body aren’t always perfect in the traditional sense but they are true.

They may reveal strength you didn’t know you had.
Or softness you’ve been told to hide.
They may become the visual language of your next chapter.

You won’t just walk away with photos.
You’ll leave with a new way of seeing and being seen.
